The Kelp Greenling exhibits distinct coloration between sexes. The female is gray-brown with bright golden to light brown spots on the body and head. The male is dark gray with bright blue spots on the head and sides. Kelp Greenling live all along the British Columbian coast. They are found from inter-tidal to 150 feet, common in kelp beds and along rocky shorelines. Their food items include : worms, crustaceans, and small fish. | ||
